Whispering Oaks Equestrian Center:

Whispering Oaks Equestrian Center is located in the Citrus Park area of Tampa and is convenient to Westchase, The Eagles, Odessa, Lutz, Carrollwood, Town n Country, Keystone and Oldsmar. We are a private training facility specializing in the training and showing of the beautiful and versatile Morgan horse breed, but all breeds are welcome.

Jennifer Scotto:
Jennifer Scotto is one of the hottest new upcoming trainers in the Morgan horse industry. She has a new and young outlook towards the industry and is ready to make a difference! At only twenty one years of age her students have won Grand National and World Championships along with local and Regional Championships. Jennifer’s students have dominated the equitation division, bringing home year after year high point championships! Jennifer has been riding for fifteen years and has many accomplishments under her belt. Jennifer specializes in all Equitation,  especially  Saddleseat, along with all disciplines of pleasure, Huntseat, Driving, Western, Jumping and Barrel Racing. Jennifer strives to teach the individual how to truly ride the horse along with teaching horse knowledge and skills.

Janice Scotto:
Horses have been a part of Janice’s life since the age of 10. Janice started training horses in High School for extra money and the opportunity to ride a variety of different breeds. She stated showing her first 4H horse a Pinto at age 12 in Speed events. The next horse was a Appaloosa gelding which she showed to many Conn. Appaloosa State awards. Janice and her family then moved heavily into the Appaloosa breed and owned Cedar Hill Appaloosas in Ellington Ct., which boasted numerous New England Champions. There the Forbes family raised and showed Appaloosas and stood National Champion Stallion Horseshoe’s Taytoba.

Janice moved to Florida in 1983 where she met Husband John Scotto. After moving to Tampa with Children Jesse and Jennifer bought a Morgan Mare VJ Opportunity as the children were excelling at Saddle Seat Riding. Whispering Oaks was founded in 1998 as a Morgan and Saddlebred training facility.

Janice has shown and trained many breeds of horses both Western and English. Janice is active in  the Florida Morgan Horse Club and member of American Morgan Horse club, and United States Equestrian Federation. Janice’s expertise has helped Whispering Oaks to be a extremely successful stable winning awards and Championships both locally and Nationally.
